Love The Library!

Love the Library!

As a refresher, so far we know all of the following can be found on a trip to Minnesota…

  • Detach from your daily stress and go have some fun.
  • Get exposed to new experiences.
  • Create memories for the future.
  • Fall in Minnesota is a terrific time.
  • Exciting outdoor thrill seeking opportunities
  • Awesome indoor thrill seeking opportunities
  • Zoos and Aquariums to visit
  • Awesome Outdoor parks
  • Cool Indoor parks
  • Unique museums and the Children’s Theater
  • A trip to the apple orchards

The main thing about Ingress that strikes me is how much of a community we have developed. It’s an amazing group of people from all walks of life and we all come together due to a mere random game we downloaded (or had already downloaded) to our phones. We’re kind of like a living library if you think about it – so much skill and knowledge and ability wrapped up in an awesome team. We do things with and for our team, much more than just playing this game; from celebrating birthdays, to supporting families in need, to going out to see agent’s bands play, to karaoke nights and more…

And sometimes we don’t want to go out in the world and explore, or maybe we want to have some quiet time in and amongst all the exploration we’ve been doing. So with that, I bring you some local library options.

Local Libraries

(T)(F)(H!) Central Library. Opened in 2006 in an award-winning building in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Often features weekend events for young children, with an extensive teen collection and an adaptive technology lab. 300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis MN 55401 https://www.hclib.org/about/locations/minneapolis-central

(T)(F)(H) Ramsey County Library – Roseville. Seriously, this library has the best children’s area (and attached teen area). You will not believe this place. Includes a number of interactive STEM and imaginative play areas, child-friendly technology, and cushy spots for parents to sit. 2180 North Hamline Ave, Roseville, MN 55113 https://www.rclreads.org/about/locations/rcl-roseville

Take a few moments for yourself and enjoy your time while in Minnesota, agents! We’re going to be so glad to have you here! Come back for our final blog in this series that will hold some final places and details you may need during your visit.
